The Brush Holders were lost while I was doing a complete cleaning and replacement of the power code of a Skil model 597 drill.
Make many notes with drawings and photos. My drawings are not neat but they are clear enough to understand.
Make notes about the positioning of parts, especially the Stator. A week later you may not remember.
Pay close attention to the trigger switch and Stator wiring!
I used Denatured Alcohol and a toothbrush to clean the Stator windings.

I took the drill completely apart. Everything was caked with dirt and grime.
"Speed kills!" Take your time! If you go slow enough, your mind will remember many details later.
