  • Replacement blades for older power plane
Blades came on time. Fit perfect and work great.

    Shipping a problem
Ordered the blades but USPS never delivered them. When I called ereplacementsparts for help in finding them, they immediately offered a refund and put in a new order. They shipped them FedEx this time. Customer service rep was extremely helpful and courtesy. Was very happy with the service and am now waiting on new order which should arrive soon. I don't blame ereplacements for USPS inability to deliver, and I am extremely happy with how they resolve the problem.

Cord was cut and carbide blades were badly nicked

This used Dewalt planer DW677 was a "gift" from a friend. The cord was easily replaced after removing 1/2 of the cover. The carbide blades were removed using the spanner which is just a small narrow wrench. Turn the retaining nuts clockwise to enable the two blade holders to be slid out of the planer. Pull out the old carbide blades and insert the new. Slide both units into the drum and back off the retaining nuts to tighten in place. Take care to index each carbide cutter on the drum so they are in the same location on the drum. This was the most difficult step but overall a piece of cake.

Not having a manual I loosened the blade supports more than needed so had a problem replacing in the exact position so had to reinstall a couple of time before the planer worked correctly.

Replacing the belt was easy as how to was obvious from looking at the planer.

    DO you have a manual for a B & D electric planner?
