This is a genuine manufacturer-sourced component that is specially made for Lawn Boy lawn mowers. The traction cable engages the drive wheels. It is connected to the traction bail then to then attached to the traction bracket near the transmission. This part provides an identical replacement for a missing or a faulty part that was originally installed on a new unit.
