Speed selector cable broke

Removed the broken cable from the top & the bottom of the snow blower. Put the new one on. The repair was very simple.

Adjustable Wrench

Cable end snap.

1. Remove nut and bolt at the bottom adjustment clamp. Remove cable.
2. Remove upper end of cable out of control lever.
3. Install upper end of cable.
4. Install lower end at adjustment clamp.

shift cable on snowblower broke

removed the broken pieces of the old cable and replaced it with the new one. Could not have been any easier.

Grear shift cable broke.

Removed bolts at the blower end of the cable.
Removed clip from handle end of cable.
Removed old cable.
Threaded cable though handle and replaced clip.
Attached cable at the blower end and bolted retainer back into place.

ordered all 3 cables for my Yard Machines snowblower, dead of winter in MN. All cables were back ordered while the snow in my driveway piled up. many weeks later my order arrived I eagerly installed the speed control cable (as my temporary repair had just failed) to find the cable was too short. tied 3 knots in it to get it to function. Not the outcome I was looking for.
