Snowblower drive cable spring broke.
The repair itself was not difficult, however, WHERE the cable spring attaches was not obvious and the drawings do not indicate where.
It attaches to the bracket (Part Number:583940502 in diagrams). There is a notched loop in the bracket towards the rear (if snowblower is standing on the auger housing) near the pulley close to the drive belt itself. I hope this helps someone in the future!

Right part, no instructions
The part was just what I expected. I’m happy with it and the help to avoid a costly bill for what is likely a simple repair. The only issue is that the spring on one end is what broke on the original part and the replacement had no installation instructions. Unfortunately it isn’t obvious where it should connect.
