| This is a genuine manufacturer-sourced component which is specially designed for Husqvarna lawn mowers. The drive cable stops the engine when you let go of the handle. When the brake cable is damaged or broken, the mower becomes temporarily inoperable so the cable needs to be replaced. It is an identical replacement for a missing or a faulty cable that was installed on a new unit, please make sure to check the appropriate diagrams of your model for the correct location and application of this part. removed old cable and installed new cable by removing about 5 screws and rerouting the new cable and install cabler clamps in two places.

Cable to power back wheels broke.
1. Removed Handle casing and opened it to remove cable.
2. Removed connection to attachment to pulley wheel that engages belt.
3. Replaced cable
4. Reassembled and reattached all parts.
5. Adjusted tension for cable to make it easy to pull drive lever.

Made notes on how the old cable was installed to the mower. Then just duplicated the installation of the new cable on the mower.
