This is an original part from Husqvarna for use with Lawn Mowers. The drive control cable engages the gear case to drive the lawn mower. The most common reason for replacing the control cable is if it is broken, causing the brake to not release even when the lever is pressed. This part is sold individually. The tool that you will need to replace the drive control cable is pliers.

Looked to see how the old cable was attached at both ends and how it was routed. Removed the old cable and installed the new one. Then adjusted the tension.

Drive cable broken

Parts Used
Disconnected old driver cable from control box and placed new cable in its place then ran cable along side down to belt mechanism. This cable engages the mower to move forward when need be.
