Bumper no longer worked. Did not extend far enough out, end worn out.
Unscrew the old one. Clean out the grass and dirt. Screw the new Bumper in.
Test the bumper. It took several bumps before it worked. It might be better
to clean out the entire trimmer head.
The only difficulty was grasping the old bumper to unscrew it. Wasn't much left of the old one.

Ryobi Bump Head Knob Assembly and Reel & Line assembly was worn out. Just needed new parts.
Just replaced the parts that I ordered and I was back in business with my electric Ryobi weed eater/edger. I've ordered these replacement parts before and have always been very pleased.

A friend brought his Ryobi string trimmer to me and the original cap was completely worn out. This part arrived quickly at a fair price. I was able to fix it for him for $21.00 including tax and shipping.
