This is a genuine OEM replacement carbon brush designed for use with Delta and Porter Cable power equipment. It includes two (2) carbon brushes with lead wires attached.
Carbon brushes are a commonly replaced item on power tools. Carbon brushes through friction and use will gradually wear away and will require replacement.
You would need a screwdriver and pliers to complete this job.
• First remove screws holding the cover together
• Remove the housing to gain access to armature and brush holder
• Remove the old brush
• Install the new brush
• Reassemble and test your tool
