Genuine manufacturer approved replacement part designed for use with Milwaukee power tools. This assembly holds carbon brushes around the armature to provide stable and safe contact. This assembly consists of: plastic holder ring, two (2) metal brush holders with springs and two (2) carbon brushes with lead wires attached.
To replace this assembly you would need a screwdriver.
• First remove screws holding the housing together
• Carefully separate housing to gain access to armature and brush holder
• Disconnect the wires
• Remove the screws holding brush card assembly
• Remove old brush holder and install the new assembly
• Reassemble and test your tool

Perfect fit. Repaired screw gun like new
No wiring instructions included so before you disassemble make notes of where wires connect to! Otherwise your screw gun could smoke up.

1. Removed the back top of the drill handle and found the brushes in pieces.
2. Found the part on line at E-Replacement parts. Entire brush mounting plate and wiring was available as one part.
3. When part arrived I took a photo of how the plate was wired, then removed it and replaced it with the new part. very simple. I now have my 1/2" Milwaukee drill back in operation.
