My brew basket has a spring and a round piece underneath that has popped off. Will it still work without that spring and round piece?

Hello Eberly, Thank you for the question. In order for the Basket to fit properly the spring and plunger on the underside are needed. The Basket will need to be replaced. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

Replaced basket
The brew basket has a spring loaded 'stopper' on the bottom of the basket. The stem of the stopper has a thin plastic retainer gasket that loosened and fell off when cleaned. Once it fell off it was lost down the drain. This retaining ring held the basket stopper from falling through. As the retaining gasket part is not sold, the entire brew basket had to be replaced.

Lost a piece on my brew basket
I simply placed the new brew basket where the old one was. I just ordered my new piece and item arrived very quickly. They kept me informed and product arrived as specified. I also got a free magnet....that was so nice....it is nice to just put on refrigerator and refer back to it when I need something else. Great company to work with!! :-)

Needed New brew basket. The stopover knob had broken off.
I just put the new basket in place. Perfect replacement.

The spring on the bottom of the brew basket was broken.
The part I received had a working spring. Simply swapped it out with the broken one. No tools necessary
