    Unscrewed old gas cap. Inserted breather in new gas cap. Screwed new gas cap assembly on gas tank. Just like that!

    Original breather cap was old and dry rotted, leaking fuel

    1. Unscrewed cap
    2. Removed old breather cap with fingers (may need needle nose plyers)
    3. Cleaned underneath fuel cap removing debris
    4. Inserted new breather cap by using fingers and lightly pushing new breather cap into bottom of fuel cap.
    5. Add a little fuel and screw fuel cap back on.
    6. Tilt machine on end to check for leaks.

    Blower gas cap gasket was worn out leaking gas.

    Pulled what was left of the old breather out of the cap and put the new one in. The new breather seemed much better quality than the one that came with the blower.

    Rubber in gas cap seal which enables the gas cap to vent the gas tank without leaking gas shrank and became gooey and was letting gas leak out of the cap/tank.

    Pulled the old gooey rubber seal out of the original gas cap. Replaced the rubber seal with the new re-designed seal. All is well. No leaks.
