Product Information
Description:
This is a Genuine Milwaukee part
It is sold individually
Two tires are needed on the Bandsaw.
If one tire is worn, it is advisable to replace both at the same time.

The purpose of the Blade Pulley Tire is to keep the blade tracking correctly. Over time they will become brittle or stretched out. You then will have the problem of the blade coming off the pulleys or not tracking properly.
The tires simply stretch onto the pulleys. No tear down of any parts is needed.

Start on from one side and apply pressure as you turn the the pulley. Same as putting a tire on a bicycle rim. Simple. You should replace both of them not just one.

The front handle, rear blade guide and pulley tires needed to be replaced.
The front handle attaches with one Allen bolt.

The rear blade guide attaches with two allen bolts. One of the bolt holes in the new guide did not have threads. I ran a tap down the hole and it went on easily.

The pulley tires go on a lot easier if you take the pulleys off of the saw.
