Socket set, Torx driver
Parts Used
Disconnect spark plug
Wear leather gloves when handling blades
Undo blade bolts
Undo gear housing bolts
Remove housing cover
Remove felt gasket and gear piece
Remove blades
Place new blades
Replace gear piece and felt gasket
Lithium grease replace
Replace gasket and cover
Screw down cover and replace bolts, making sure each has a washer spacer.
Replace/reconnect spark plug wire
Prime engine and test slowly to distribute lithium grease in gearbox.
Wear leather gloves when handling blades
Undo blade bolts
Undo gear housing bolts
Remove housing cover
Remove felt gasket and gear piece
Remove blades
Place new blades
Replace gear piece and felt gasket
Lithium grease replace
Replace gasket and cover
Screw down cover and replace bolts, making sure each has a washer spacer.
Replace/reconnect spark plug wire
Prime engine and test slowly to distribute lithium grease in gearbox.
