Product Description ?

This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement part designed for use with edgers. It is great for edging level ground around sidewalks and driveways. This blade is made out of metal and it is sold individually. To replace it you would need a wrench to remove the blade nut.

    This item is discontinued and only a few places have then in stock. ereplacementparts had them and shipped them quickly and they arrived as described. Its winter inCanada so I can't try them out but I am sure they will be the same as the original.

    Removed protective cover over blade...
    Removed 2 bolts securing blade...
    Installed new blade....tapped keeper washers back onto securing bolts...

    Remove the two bolts and lock washers, then the lock strap. Remove the old blade and install the new blade. Then place the lock strap on the blade and secure it with the two lock washers and nuts

    Removed the worn parts, cleaned the house and installed the replacement parts. Give the age of the edger I was happy to find parts for it.

    1. Loosened & removed two bolts.
    2. Took old blade off.
    3. Put new blade on.
    4. Tightened bolts. Was good to go!

    Blade was worn out. Front wheel missing a chunk and didn't roll

    1 removed old and worn out parts
    2 upon receiving new parts replaced them.
    3 the front wheel was the wrong part and found out the wheel need was no longer available. I improvised by using 11/4 inch caster wheel .
    4 checked operation and it works like new.

    1. Removed the plastic housing, 3 screws
    2. Put screwdriver between blade and the edger unit so it wouldn't slip when I unscrewed the nuts
    3. Unscrew the two nuts holding the blade
    4. Put on new blade and lockstrap
    5. Put screwdriver against blade and edger base and tighten nuts
    6. Reassemble the plastic housing
    7. Go edging...

    I removed the lock strap and the nuts that hold the blade on, then cleaned the area where the blade bolts on, and installed new blade the lock strap, the nuts . Once I had everything back on the edger and rechecked everything to make sure it was all tight and locked down, I plugged the edger in and checked operation. Worked perfect. I was very surprised that the parts where still available. Thanks very much.

    Needed blade for older edger, but it was no longer available

    I found two other blades that were close to the one I needed all I had to do was grind the one that was about a 1/4 inch to long down and it works great now. And I was able to use the new lock strap also.
