Thank you for your question. If the vacuum is not keeping a charge, make sure that it is properly connected to the charger and that the charger is plugged in properly to an electrical outlet. Check the charger for any signs of damage. If the charger is working correctly it will be warm when you touch it. Also make sure that you are charging it for the recommended time period. If the cord is damaged or not working, it will need to be replaced. If the issue is with the battery, you will need to replace the vacuum. If you have any questions, please let us know. I need the small rubber flap that goes inside the clear container of the vacuum to prevent dust from going back out of the inlet when the unit is off. Can I purchase a few? I don't see them in the list. Thank you! - Jim
