Belt - RO-672260
Repair Difficulty:
Medium
Time Spent Repairing:
30-60 minutes
Tools Used:
Screwdriver, Pliers, Hammer
Brush Roll, belt, and guard replaced
The guard was smaller and had to be bent a bit here and there, and then I hammered it on the body, over the new brush assembly that fit perfect! Figured out the belt had to twist to one direction in order to quit flipping off. Now, my old Royal workhorse is back in the saddle. Love it-Thanks

Loud noise (like a bearing out) when vaccuum was turned on.
First took the roller and belt out of the vacuum head, and turned vacuum on. The loud noise was gone. Yipee, no big repair needed, just a new roller! Ordered one with some extra back-up vacuum belts.

Popped the new roller in. (Watch for openings in brush to put on roller in correct direction so belt doesn't spin off when your turn the vacuum back on.) Perfect fit and works fine.

Fast mailing service also just receiving by regular mail.
Will use this vendor again!

Royal Vacuum Repair - Easy repair
The parts arrived promptly, and they were in good condition. What made 3 of the 4 vacuum cleaner wheels to break one after another was really strange. It is not a new vacuum. I broke one wheel when the vacuum cleaner slipped off my workbench while I was trying to remove the axle nuts. Otherwise, the repair went fine.
