  • Prolonged the life of my favorite belt sanders!
Although the original drive belts on my Hitachi sanders are still fine even though they're both from the 1980's and were used commercially for years, I purchased these as spares "just in case". Because I haven't (or may never) used the belts, I can't honestly comment on their durability. I also bought new motor brushes as my 1980's era 3"x21" Hitachi belt sander had a broken brush spring and a lot of wear on both brush surfaces. Although eReplacement said the brushes for my slightly newer 3"x24" Hitachi were no longer available, I was able to determine that both sanders used the exact same brushes. These brushes also will work for my Hitachi compound miter saw. Very happy (so far) with the purchase.

Removed belt cover 3 screws, removed old belt and replaced with new one, by barely placing the belt on the pulleys and turning the pulleys and pressing the belt on. The machine runs like new. Its an older machine 4"x24" Hitachi belt sander, but it will out sand any thing in its class.

    This was an easy fix.
The previous Planer Drive Belt finally failed and I needed a new one.
I found this difficult to find part and ordered ten of them for future use.
Once arrived, I merely slipped the new one onto the planer pulleys and was back to work.
