You would need a screwdriver to complete a repair.
• Remove the belt cover
• Replace the old belt with the new one
• Secure the housing

Remove the three screws on the cover plate remove old belt install new one put cover back on with three screws and you’re done took five minutes

Removed three screws on the Black and Decker belt sander cover. Took the broken belt out replaced With the new belt and then replaced the cover and three screws. Job done 5 minutes.
