This is an OEM replacement Belt used on Craftsman Sanders. This small belt is what drives your sander. If this belt breaks, the sanders will not be able to operate. It is made out of Rubber and it is Sold Individually. You would need a Screwdriver to remove the cover/housing in order to replace the Belt. |

Buddy gave me an old Craftsman Sander...belt broke
Removed cover, did some general cleaning and lubrication and stretched belt into place, fit perfectly...simple repair. Glad to find the part for such and old sander.

Belt was broken
Remove belt cover, remove old belt. Start new belt on the edges of the drive and driven pulleys, While turning the belt start pressing it on to the pulleys until it is all the way on. Replace belt cover.

Used a screwdriver to remove the housing (one screw) and removed the broken belt; New belt replaced - No tool required. Then installed the housing.

Belt needed replaced
Removed the belt cover and the old belt, cleaned the entire sander with compressed air.
Installed the new belt, then screwed on the belt cover.
