Description:

This replacement bearing is an authentic component which is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use with Black and Decker and Dewalt sanders and angle grinders. Bearings are used to reduce friction between rotating parts, please make sure to check appropriate diagrams of your unit for the correct location and use of this hardware. Over time bearings tend to wear out and may begin to fail eventually requiring replacement to maintain peak performance. This part is made of high-quality metal and it is sold individually.

Bearing over heated and worn out. Plastic housing also melted from over heated bearing.

1. Removed housing and armature.
2. Install new bearing in new housing
3. Reinstall armature and housing

Left motor bearing wore out.

1. Disassembled almost the whole tool.
2. Cleaned out all the saw dust.
3. Inspected bearing and found bad one.
4. Ordered replacement bearing.
5. Installed replacement bearing.
6. Replace grease in gear box.
7. Re-assembled tool.
8. Test operated tool - works great.

Screwdriver, Socket set, needle vicegrip to hold worm shaft while I remove belt wheel

belt side bearing burnt out lost bearings in race

pulled the case off the belt drive side.
removed belt drive wheels / pulley. then reinstalled them and the new bearing into the new case.

Note that I had 3 of these that needed the same fix.

Replace bearing and cover on armature end of motor

Remove the screws in order to split the case in half
Install new bearing in cover
Replace coverp

Black & Decker belt sander repair
