Description:

It is an authentic replacement part that is supplied directly from original equipment manufacturer for use with walk-behind lawn mowers. This is the cover that is secured in the battery housing to protect it from dirt and other debris. It is made of durable plastic and it is sold individually. This part has starting instructions printed on top of it.

while mowing...I knocked housing off the electric start area...couldn't find...continued to mow..found it after I ran over it...ruined it. I did it.

nothing special...did take a minute or two to get it lined up and to catch "clamp" part on the edge...but so easy compared to most problems. Delighted to find the part. I temporarily for about a year couldn't locate part online......and had taped a part of a dairyqueen clear cup over it. Looked online one more time...a yr later...found it. bonus.

Socket set, Wrench Set, Adjustable Wrench, no extra tools

Battery housing broke.

removed the two bolts replace the housing. Place battery housing top on secure the tow bolts. Job done.

Battery cover got knocked off and chewed up by mower

Make sure all wires and fuses are inside housing with the charging port snug in place on front. Snap cover on top. Easy easy
