Product Information

Description:

This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement battery charger. It is specifically designed to charge batteries on walk-behind lawn mowers. Please keep in mind that a weak or a defective battery can damage this charger. Weak batteries that would not hold charge will keep charging, eventually causing the charger to overheat. Includes one 12v charger.

The charger for the battery had a broken wire

Plugged in new charger. I am an older women with arthritic hands and starting with the rope is difficult for me so when the mower has been sitting for awhile I need the electric start.

Screwdriver, Plastic pry bar to separate ignition molding

mower won't start and lost keys

I removed old key switch and installed new. Put new keys in. Charged battery. Checked voltage. Battery good. Tested ignition key switch. Tested good. Still won't start. Tested everything from key down to motor. There's a switch on the folding start handle. Tested ok. Put 12v to starter and "nothing" !!
I have to order a new starter. If you unplug cord at motor. The mower will start.
So I've been using the mower but at some point I'll order a new starter and take mower apart. But it's running and mowing so I'm good for summer.

Install battery box cover, charge battery, wait 10 to 12 hours. Push starter button, mow yard
