This is a genuine OEM replacement part used with many pool pump mechanisms. The ball-type drain valve is constructed of plastic components. This item is compatible with (Perflex) Extended Cycle D.E. Filter models. The non-corrosive valve is fitted into the base of the filter body. This part is made for full and efficient flow (to 50 psi). The ball-type drain valve is sold individually. A screwdriver may be needed in making the removal and installation. Please be sure to refer to the pump manual for further instructions.
