Description:
This is a genuine part which is supplied by the original equipment manufacturer for use with Ryobi and Ridgid impact drivers. The ball is fitted within the anvil helping to secure a drill bit. If the hardware is damaged or is missing, this will provide an identical replacement for the original ball that was installed on a new unit. Check the appropriate diagrams for your specific model to ensure the proper application. One durable metal ball is included. A screwdriver and pliers will be needed to remove the old part and secure the new one. |

outer sleeve came off lost the locking ball for the bit
put the ball in thye hole and replaced the spring,,outer sleeve and washer lastly the retaining ring . All Good !!!

retaining ring broke, lost ball and spring
Simple to follow directions. Placed items on impact then used a eyeglass screwdriver to help me get the retaining ring on.

When I was drilling a hole in a wall top plate with a Patel bit on my impact, when the bit broke through the second board the collar jammed into the hole drilled the collar was pulled off the driver l
I use my 5/16 nut driver to push the retaining ring down and rotate to mount the ring. DONE
