Product Description ?

This is a genuine manufacturer-sourced part which is designed for use with Porter Cable band saws. Ball bearings are generally utilized to reduce friction between rotating parts. The balls or rollers take the load and spin, distributing the weight evenly while the minimal contact area of the ball reduces friction. Unfortunately, over time components will wear out and may begin to fail eventually requiring a replacement to maintain peak performance. This high-quality bearing is made of durable metal and is sold individually.

I have purchased from E-replacement before, with no problems. However, this time they ended up as the middle man, & I probably paid more than I should have for these bearings, which took about two weeks to reach me.Why the company who makes the bearings not ship them directly to me? E/R could still have gotten a small piece of the action. Sorry, but I will not order any bearings from you again.

Removed top pulley after releasing tension and blade. stretched new tire a few times and the worked it onto wheel.
For the bearing I removed the bearing and shaft. I used a set of snap ring pliers to remove old bearing and after putting a couple of drops of oil on shaft I put the new bearing on and set the snap ring back in place.. reassembled everything thing and set tension and spacing. Works like new.
