This is an original Hitachi replacement part manufactured for use with power tools. Ball bearings are used to allow rotation between a fixed assembly and a rotating shaft, or between a fixed shaft and rotating wheel or assembly. The bearing reduces friction between the moving and fixed parts to prevent damage between the parts. After prolonged use bearings can wear out potentially causing decreased performance or damage to the associated parts. This bearing is sold individually and has different applications depending on the model of the power tool, please see model diagram for part location and usage.
