1. Remove the bail spring outer cover (silver plate) and the bail wire on that side.
2. Remove the broken spring
3. Insert the new spring. the long end of the spring should be facing up.
4. Replace the bail spring cover.
5. Replace the bail wire and put the long end of the spring into the small hole on the bail wire joint.
