This is an authentic Penn replacement part used in compatible spinning reels. The metal bail spring attaches to the bail wire. It is a small part that will need to be replaced if it becomes lost or if it breaks. A set of pliers and a screwdriver may be required to help replace this part.     1. Remove the bail spring outer cover (silver plate) and the bail wire on that side.
    2. Remove the broken spring
    3. Insert the new spring. the long end of the spring should be facing up.
    4. Replace the bail spring cover.
    5. Replace the bail wire and put the long end of the spring into the small hole on the bail wire joint.

    Lost a trip arm screw and a Bail Spring during fishing

    1.Cleaned the Bail Cam
    2.Secured the Spring in position
    3.Add some grease
    4.Screw it back
    and its done sucessfully

    3) Install new spring
    4) Replace cover
