Original plastic axles were broken causing vacuum head to grind because wheels couldn't spin.

Replacement metal axles that I ordered were a few millimeters too long so I had to snip them with bolt cutters so they would fit. They are a sturdy, thick metal. I popped out the broken plastic axles with screw driver then replaced with the metal ones with the wheels. Vacuum head glides easily once again.
