This high quality automix assembly is supplied from original equipment manufacturer for Bissell carpet cleaners. Its purpose is to mix the cleaning solution and the water in a correct ratio. The ratio can be adjusted by turning the knob which is sold separately. Over time the part may get clogged eventually requiring replacement. When replacing this automix assembly it is advised that you also replace the piston to maintain peak performance. Please note one durable plastic part is included per order.

Removed machine top cover, removed hoses to component, two screws & installed new part . Warmed hose ends & Attached, replaced topcover, & test cleaned carpet.

Removed the carpet cleaner cover, located the Automix assy and removed the screws holding the automix assy and the hoses. Reversed above procedure and plug cleaner cord into outlet to check repairs and all was fine.

Automix had become broken and the carpet machine cover had 2 mounting holes broken

1. Unhooked supply and discharge hoses from old auto-mix assembly
2. Unmounted old auto-mix assembly
3. Mounted new auto-mix assembly
4. Reconnected supply and discharge hoses to new auto-mix assembly
5. Replaced old carpet machine cover with new carpet machine cover
6. Mounted new carpet machine cover
