This authentic item is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use with carpet cleaners by Bissell. No tools should be needed during the replacement of this part. It may become broken and will need to be replaced.

Initial problem was would not pick up water after cleaning from carpet. Tested at vacuum motor, had good suction there, diagnosed problem to dried out seals on pick-up side. Replaced seals to correct problems.
1) Dis-assembled to locate seals needed.
2) Re-assembled right away with old original parts.
3) Ordered parts needed.
On arrival of parts.
4) Inspect parts and sorted order needed to go in starting at base up.
5) Dis- assembled replacing parts one for one, like for like.
6) To optimize good sealant used silicon faucet grease on seals light coat only. (It is light and water resistant). Aids in assembly lubrication.
6) Tested good.
Note: Correct installation per mfg. directions is important. Top vacuum chamber drops in front and hooks in the bottom front dropping down in the rear into the upper duct assembly. Soap dispenser must be in place.
