My Rigid chop saw was discontinued as I searched for spar parts I found this replacement part my part number cross referenced to. Upon receiving this product a quickly realized it was not a perfect fit. The slide bar was too long therefore to make it work I had to use my current bar. I was able to make the remaining parts work without too much alterations.

The guard was damaged by a piece of oak kanked into it by the blade. After reassembly, the guard no longer worked.

Removed the old mounting plate and new part fit perfectly. Metal arm attaches to the saw via a threaded bolt which I lost. Found a similar thread size but was too long. A little dremel saw off and grinder on the bolt -fit perfect.
