Coleman cooler handle

Can't get a grip on your cooler? You might need a new handle. If your cooler is always loaded to the max, or if it slams against the bed of your truck during transport, you might break one of the handles. Replacing the handles is easy to do.

Let's get started.

REMOVING THE HANDLE   1. Remove the handle.

a. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry away the two pins securing the handle.

b. Remove the handle from the cooler.

INSTALLING THE NEW HANDLE

  2. Install the handle.

a. Install one of the locking pins into the bracket.

b. Install the new handle onto the locking pin.

c. Align the handle with the mounting bracket.

d. Install the second locking pin to secure the handle.
