The blower pipe is the last section of tubing on your backpack blower. The tube tapers at the end to increase the speed of the air leaving the tube. The blower pipe tends to be rubbed against the ground during normal use, and over time the end will wear away. This can alter the direction of the air flow and decrease the air speed. Eventually, the blower pipe will need to be replaced.
Let's get started.
REMOVING THE BLOWER PIPE 1. Remove the blower pipe.
a. The blower pipe is secured to the straight pipe by threaded tabs.
b. Rotate the blower pipe counterclockwise to disengage the threaded tabs.
c. Pull the blower pipe away from the straight pipe.
INSTALLING THE NEW BLOWER PIPE 2. Install the blower pipe.
a. Install the new blower pipe onto the straight tube.
b. Align the tabs and rotate the blower pipe clockwise to secure the threaded connection.
