Product Description ?

This is a single anti splinter insert for a jigsaw. It prevents tearing out on top of the material and is most effective when cutting with the grain or diagonal to it. This OEM part is made of clear plastic, and can break or wear over time, requiring replacement. This is considered an easy repair by our customer’s and should only take a few minutes to complete. For this tool-free repair, simply snap the anti splinter insert into the base of the jigsaw.

    1. Snap the anti splinter insert into the base of your Bosch jig saw and you're done!

    Guess you could take the jig saw base off, Lay it on a flat surface, Then snap the insert into the base, but that would take way more time than necessary for such a quick fix.

    Nothing, the anti splinter inserts are a sacrificial part, and like the blades should be replaced when worn.
