A screwdriver and an adjustable wrench may be needed during the installation of the switch. This part is an OEM from Ridgid for use in drum machines and drain cleaning machines.     When I step on foot peddle I hear a click is this the air switch bad.

    Hello Gary, thank you for writing. We do sell the Air Switch 32992 as well as the Foot Switch Assembly 37967. The purpose of the Foot Switch Assembly is as what is says. By using this Foot Switch it is also acting as a safety device, keeping your hand away from moving parts of the machines listed below. For this Foot switch to operate you will need to make sure you have the part number 32992 Air Switch installed in the switch box of the motor.     Remove outer shell 4 screws pull back shell, adjustable wrench to remove nut on air switch remove wires replace with new switch replace wires.

    I removed one nut out that was holding it to the machine, then I disconnected the old one and installed the new one. To finalize the job I put the nut back and it was working again. Didn't expect to replace it my self with out help
