    Great price
The price for the part was great, hard to find older machine parts and when I do they are often overpriced. Thanks.

Replacement of worn out OEM parts

    Dennis - April 28, 2016

Just make sure that all of your new parts are laid out separately, in order to allow you to keep everything separate from the old parts that you will be removing. Take your time, clean areas and parts that you will be keeping as you go. Once all parts have been removed and parts cleaned, work your way backwards from the way you removed parts when installing the new parts. I use 90 degree type Allen Head wrenches without handles that way I do not over tighten fasteners. I had gasket material that stuck on me around the intake portal to the piston that needed to be scrapped off, so I brought the piston to TDC and stuffed a small bit of rag in the hole to keep debris from getting inside the head.
I also bought from a local store a replacement muffler and muffler bolts and gasket that was installed during this time as well, but the store did not have the other parts I was needing.
EVERY part that I ordered from eReplacement Parts fit exactly as the old parts, I did not have to make any adjustments to the new parts to get them to fit.
When I was finished, I primed the carburetor, adjusted the choke and slid the on/off button to on, and pulled the cord one time and it fired right up. I adjusted the choke and set it down and let it idle as I put my tools up and cleaned up the area I was working in.
I am very happy with my whole experience dealing with eReplacement Parts. I will be ordering again from them.

Took off air filter ,carburetor and fuel pipe kit. Replaced with new parts. Hardest part was the fuel pipe kit. Rubber that goes into the gas tank was little bigger then the original. I had to go with my drill and make the hole a little bigger. Otherwise it was a easy fix. I had my t270 shindaiwa trimmer over 10 years and it works like new.

Loosen two screws on throttle lever assy, loosen two screws on power head-to-trimmer tube clamp. Twist and slide power head off tube. Coated new grip inside with silicone spray and slide onto tube. Slide power head onto shaft and engage drive shaft, retighten clamp screws. Install new cable and spring. NOTE: found it best to route new cable and kill wires thru new grip channel before sliding new grip onto shaft! Also clean and lube anything that needs attention during tear-down always makes reassembly much easier.
