    All of the fuel lines was broken due to me leaving fuel in the tank of the winter months.

    Nutdriver, needle nose pliers / razor blade

    I removed the plastic covers on the top and side of the chain saw to replace the fuel lines to the carburetor and primer bulb. I also removed the fuel cap and drained the fuel from the tank to connect the fuel line in the tank and replace the assy-pick-up and fuel line fitting.

    1. replaced spark plug
    2.replaced air filter
    3 mixed up some fresh gas (1 gallon) and added 1/2 tablespoon of sea foam to the gas.

    fuel lines

    I removed the top of the chainsaw. Then I screwed the top off the gas tank. I put the new line on the new fuel filter. I cut the other end of the line diagonal. Stuck a hole in the line at the beginning of the cut and placed some thin wire so I could pull the line through the fuel tank. Once I got the line through the hole I pulled it through with a pair of needle nose pliers an attached it to the carb.

    Took out the screws covering carborator, replaced fule lines and fule filter placed new air cleaner and put in new spark plug. Replaced cover and screws and started it up.

    Replaced the fuel line, fuel filter, spark plug, and air filter. Cut the fuel line at an angle to make it easier to thread through the hole into the fuel tank.

    Connection from flywheel magnet to spark plugs, the metal pieces touching the flywheel had broken.

    Removed all outer casing.
    Removed the wires from the start/stop switch assembly.
    Loosened the wires from the clip attached to the main body.
    Unscrewed the black box for the ignition module.
    Removed all wires, pieces, etc.
    Attached the new ignition module and screwed in.
    Fed wires up to start/stop switch and reattached.
    Reconnected to the spark plug.
    Reassembled outer casings.
    Started chainsaw as normal.

    Note that when reattaching the black wire to the start stop switch, use a flathead screwdriver to gently move the metal connector plate nearest to the red switch back, then insert the end into the opening and release the metal plate.

    Socket set, Torx driver

    1. Took off the air cleaner cover.
    2. Took off the pull rope cover.
    3. Took off the coil.
    4. Took off the stator.
    5. Did everything in reverse.
    6. Used a .014 shim between the coil and the stator to set the gap.
    7. Put in the new air filter.
    8. Put the covers back on.
    9. One pull full choke.
    10. One pull half choke.
    11. Runs like new.

    Dirty filters

    Removed the top cover and then the filter cover and installed a new air filter.
    For the fuel filter, I inserted my fingers in the gas tank and pulled out the fuel filter which is attached to the Prime fuel line. Pulled the filter out of the fuel line and replaced it with a new one.
