Would not run with choke in off position.
These are the steps i used... Remove fuel lines from carburetor note position of each. Open up cover of air box. Remove air filter. Remove two screws with Allen wrench. Remove air box. Slighty remove carburetor and unhook throttle cable linkage noting the way it hooks up. Remove carburetor. Make sure old gasket doesn't stick to carburetor adapter. Remove two screws and remove carburetor adapter. Take carburetor adapter, air box, and air box cover and clean with toothbrush and dishwash liquid. Dry thoroughly. Take a q-tip dip in cleaner and clean around cylinder where adapter fits. Push screws through carburetor adapter and put new gasket on screws pushing it on adapter so it lines up perfectly. Tighten adapter on cylinder. Push screws through air box, new carburetor, and place new gasket on screws against carburetor so gasket lines up perfectly. Install throttle linkage cable to carburetor. Tighten screws back down. Clean air filter, or replace then install air box cover. Hook fuel lines back up in proper position. Always, ALWAYS use non-ethanol gas in your weed eater with proper oil mixture. My Poulan weed eater is 13 years old and this is the first time I habe replaced anything on it.

Fuel tank filter and hoses became brittle in time. I also decided to replace the air filter foam and spark plug for maintenance purposes.
1. Drained the gas tank.
2. Detached the hoses from the carburetor.
3. Removed the two screws holding the gas tank in place.
4. Mounted the new gas tank and put the two screws back.
5. Attached the two hoses to the carburetor.
6. Replaced the foam air filter.
7. Replaced the spark plug with a socket set.
8. Filled the gas tank with mixed gas, started the pruner and started cutting tree limbs.

Ordered the products by phone. Friendly service. Web page very detailed. Picture, name and product number. Products arrived within a few days. Professionally wrapped and boxed. Happy customer and will do business with them again. Highly recommended!!!!

My Weedeater Brand Weed trimmer was 16 years old and was having trouble running, it would start up but quickly die.
I replaced the carburetor, replaced the fuel tank and replaced the air filter. Now my 16 year old trimmer starts up and runs like a new one. I am so glad that I found the parts on ereplacement parts.com.

Fuel lines rotten
Removed cylinder head cover, removed old fuel tank from that, removed carburetor, attached new fuel lines to carburetor, reattached carburetor, attached new fuel tank to cylinder head cover, replaced cylinder head cover. Throttle cable to carburetor was difficult to reattach. Properly orienting and seating all parts when reassembling took the most time. Trimmer started right up, works fine!
