Description:

This is a genuine OEM replacement part, it is sold individually.
The purpose of this filter is to help eliminate dirt, dust and debris from contaminating the carburetor and damaging the engine.
A dirty air filter can cause the engine from operating properly.
This filter can be cleaned a time or two by using an air supply. But it is advised to replace it once it becomes dirty.

Remove the front cover remove the old filter and insert the new filter, replace the cover.

Hard starting and poor performance once finally running

Removed old spark plug, correctly gapped and re-installed new spark plug purchased from e-replacementparts.com.
Removed old, dirty air filter, airbox assy. and gummed-up carburetor from engine. Dis-assembled airbox and carb completely - cleaning all the parts thoroughly with carb cleaner spray.
Re-assembled freshly cleaned carb with new carb overhaul kit from e-replacementparts.com.
Re-installed overhauled carb and airbox assy. back onto engine. Re-installed new air filter purchased from e-replacementparts.com and adjusted carb to specs.
Lawnmower engine now starts easily and has plenty of power!

Pressure Washer engine carburetor flooding

1. removed air filter and cover.
2. removed primer base.
3. removed carburetor and gaskets
4. cleaned old gaskets from engine.
5. Installed new carburetor and gasket.
6. Installed new primer base, replaced because I wanted all new parts.
7. Installed new air filter and cover.
8. Primed and pulled rope, started on 2nd pull ran like new.

Lawn mower front wheel dive cable

Removed the top black plastic deck from both sides approx. 16-20 screws - bolts and underneath

Also be sure to Remove the spark Plug Wire so your don't accidently start the mover and cause injury's to your self and or others . I have mechanical experience so that helps.

Air filter was dirty

1. Removed filter cover with screwdriver.
2. Took out old filter.
3. Cleaned out any debris such as grass and such.
4. Installed new air filter.

Screwdriver, Socket set, Wrench Set, Adjustable Wrench, Drill, Drill Bits Spark plug socket

The Lawn Mower needed a general going over/ tune up

1. Removed the starter rope assembly by drilling out the rivets.
2. Removed the Screw with the ratchet pawls and replaced the missing one.
3. Re assembled and secured with rivets.
4. Replaced air filter by removing the single screw for the cover.
5. Replaced the spark plug.
6. Using a 13mm socket I removed the fuel bowl and cleaned with a rag.
7. Rinsed the bowl, and carburetor with carb cleaner. Then reassemble
8. Changed oil.
9. Removed the blade and sharpened
10. Reassembled and started it to make sure everything works.
