    Part better than original
I have long waited for this part to become available. I had some difficulty removing the old broken part, but the new one fits perfectly and appears to be stronger than the original. I had to find a new screw though; the threads were rusted on the old screw. I would willingly pay more for a rust-resistant metal part.

    Screwdriver, Allen wrench set

    1) Cover drain to keep random parts from disappearing.
    2) Loosen the sets crew on the handle with the allen wrench (no need to remove setscrew) so that you can slide the handle handle off of fixture.
    3) Using Phillips head screwdriver remove center screw that holds the adapter in place and slide the adapter off of the fixture.
    4) Slide new adapter till it's fully seated in place (it is notched to fit into positions depending on how you wish the faucet handle to appear in the off position) and secure with center screw.
    5) Replaced handle in the position you desire and tightened set screw.
The part I received was a perfect replacement for the broken piece – just a different color.

Took handle off, unscrewed the screw that held the piece, changed the piece, screwed it again. The handle had a little screw thing that holds the handle in place' and that fits perfectly with the piece that was replaced. Need a socket set, a really small one to unscrew it and place the handle in the right position then screw it again.
