This is a genuine Ryobi replacement part, it is sold individually.
The purpose of the Atomizer Valve Assembly is to force the liquid that is in the container out of a very small hole so that it becomes a fine spray.
This part does become clogged if not cleaned on a regular basis.
It is advisable to have an extra one on hand.

    Remove the spring and piston from the pump housing holder. Remove the pump housing assembly and the locking nut and tip. Replace the atomizer and replace the tip and locking nut. Install the new piston assembly and spring. Then replace the pump housing to the pump housing holder.
