Some grill parts were rusted and some did not come up clean enough after scrubbing to put food on.

Removed all inside parts.
Washed with soapy water, scrubbed the grill surfaces.
Swept all of the burned food particles out of the bottom of the grill.
Washed the inside of the grill.
When I received the new parts in the mail, I just put them in place and recycled the old parts.
It was very easy, no screws involved.
My husband was impressed.

6. Removed wing nut from temperature gauge

Tube burners were split, carry over tubes were corroded away, warming grid was rusty.

Removable of the old parts was the hardest, rust and corrosion. Replacing the new parts was easy, they fit like they should.

Low heat in grill

Screwdriver

Remove the screws from the old tubes, then just screw on the new carryover tubes. Place the warming grid in the lid. Remove the cooking grates. then just lift out the old heat tents and replace them with the new ones. I couldn't believe someone would have the parts for this older grill. Excellent company.

Rusted screws on carry over tubes

Power Drill

Use a power drill and drill bit to remove the rusted screws that holds down the carry over tubes in place, use the same size bit as the screw as to not to make the hole bigger for the new screws that are provided with the new carry over tubes. Just replace the heat tents, warming grid and grease tray by hand.

Removed the screws from the old carry over tubes, and replaced them with the screws supplied with the new tubes. Removed the cooking grates and replace the heat tents. Then simply replace the warming grid. Simple.
