This is a genuine Homelite replacement part designed for use with Trimmers and Blowers. It is made out of Rubber and it is Sold Individually. By pressing on the Purge Bulb, it will force fuel into the fuel line from the fuel tank into the carburetor. Once the carburetor is full of fuel, the excess fuel will be purged back into the tank in the fuel return line.
At some time the primer will lose its elasticity or crack and need to be replaced.

Remove the screws that secure the primer plate to the carburetor and remove plate and old primer, Place primer in plate and secure it to the carburetor with the screws.

First took out screws holding tank then the 4 screws holding bulb replace it and then put back screws and tried to start it and it started very fast in comparison when the bulb was broken
