Product Information

Description:

This is an authentic Ariens replacement part that has been sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with riding lawnmowers. The v-belt is part of the deck assembly and is used to rotate the mower's blades. Overtime the belt can wear out from tension put on the belt from the spacing between the pulleys and will need to be replaced. It is recommended to inspect and clean the pulleys when replacing the belt to prevent damage to the new belt. This item is sold as an individual replacement part.

Replaced blade drive belt and tension pully spring.

1. Removed pulley guards on mower deck.
2. Removed tension spring from mount and pulley.
3. Removed belt from mower deck.
4. Installed new belt and tension spring.
5. Installed pulley guards.

needed a new v belt

Removed the two puley guards took the old belt off, put the new belt on, replaced the two guards, finished.

Floor jacked front end up for easy access underneath deck. Removed coverings on top side of deck - installed belt - done
