I gave it a "hard" rating because it really takes two guys to do it. Especially when it's the first time. You have to disconnect the shute cable, C-clamps and be a bit tricky and disconnect anything else that might be in the way .Devise some type of jack... Blocks, what have you) When you remove the four bolts and the housing opens like a jack-knife it's a little tough getting the alignment right and back together. The housing is bulky and heavy. Also since we had it apart we checked out everything else, cleaned the unit and greased all fittings, axles, bushings ,etc, so that added to the time.If you were doing this all the time it would get easier and get a medium rating but we were throughout so there is a learning curve.The belt fit perfectly ! The auger worked great during the unit test.
