    Remove the screws from the trigger housing, note how the trigger is installed. Remove the throttle cable from the broken trigger and place it in the new one. Install the new trigger and screw the trigger housing back together

    Remove the screws from the trigger handle
    Remove the throttle lug from the broken trigger and insert in the new trigger
    Screw the trigger handle together.

    Unscrew the housing, lift the trigger off, disconnect the throttle cable. To reinstall connect the throttle cable, place back in place and put the housing back together.

    1. Removed 4 screws from trigger housing
    2. Lifted half the housing covering the trigger.
    3. Noted the orientation of broken trigger and replaced with new trigger.
    4. Replaced trigger housing and screws.

    Remove the screws from the housing and make note how the old trigger is installed. Remove the old trigger and throttle cable from it. Install the new trigger and insert the throttle lug into it.

    Trigger on Weed Eater broke off

    1. Best to take a picture first after opening handle.
    2. Remove screws, open handle, remove interlocking parts.
    3. Installed new part, making sure release is in the correct location.
    4.Wiring and cables need to be re-seated.
    5. Carefully close handle shell to not pinch wire or cable.
    6.Install screws. New part much better than the old one!

    Used the Allen wrench to remove the screws on the grip the 2 parts came apart, slid the old trigger off and disconnected the cable, put the cable on the new trigger and slid it in place then put it back together now I have a trigger that works.
