Remove back of radio, then simply removed the old transformer and connections, replaced new transformer with two screws and plug in connections.

radio worked while running on battery but not when plugged in

After I took the case off, the transformer had two wires running into it. The wires were easily removed and there were two screws to remove the old transformer. Very simple repair!

Remove the old transformer
Install the leads one at a time from the old one to the new one
Replace the rear of the radio
