S-hook on end of throttle cable broke + trigger was starting to crack

Screwdriver, Pliers, Sharp utility knife

1. Took plastic cover off of carburetor to access linkage.
2. Disassembled trigger handle assembly
3. Removed old trigger and throttle cable, saving trigger spring
4, Removed molded end clip from new cable assembly
5. Cut off approximately 1" of old cable shield and added to new (sliced down side, then slipped over new cable at trigger end) as new shield didn't take up enough slack
6. Connected cable carburetor and re-attached cover
7. Attached other end to trigger, place trigger and old spring back in handle assembly
8. Assembled handle assembly

The trigger broke off.

Carefully remove the screws and spread them out on the table always have a clean tabletop to work with so you can put things back the way they came. How to remove the return spring without noting which direction it went so by trial and error went back together pretty good. Not my first time. Normally maintain all of my tools.
