Throttle Cable 308055002

Description:

This is a genuine manufacturer sourced replacement throttle cable designed for use with handheld string trimmers. Throttle cable is connected to the carburetor and it stops the engine when you shift the lever to the full choke position. Please note the housing, trigger and screws are sold separately.

Throttle trigger was broke and throttle cable was also broken and replaced with new

1 I removed throttle trigger housing screws
2 Removed engine housing screws and removed housing and set aside
3 Replaced throttle cable and trigger
4 Replaced screws and tested throttle and trigger for proper adjustment

Simple job but required patience and dexterity. It is best to attach one end at the time following the old cable to ensure proper fit.

The throttle support broke

1. Used star screw driver to remove trigger housing
2. Disconnected cable from trigger and carb.
3. Connected the cable to trigger and carb
4. Connected cable to trigger housing, put screws back in.

Cable end attached to the carburetor is broken .

Removed the two plastic covers in order to access and remove the broken throttle cable.

1. Remove the old Throttle Cable.
2. Fit the new Throttle Cable.

Throttle handle broke.

1. Remove four screws
2. Replace cable
3. Place screws back in place

The part worked out nicely and I was able to get my weed trimmer running in no time.

Throttle cable broken

Removed the grip around the shaft and removed the and replaced the throttle cable. Perfect fit replacement. There is one screw that secures the cable to the engine and 4 torx screws to split the handle. The cable fits in a cut-out groove once you split the handle.
